Terms of service
Effective 2 November 2026 · Applies to nuvx.lol and Nuvx project software.
Nuvx is in development. It is not a released or supported music service. These terms are a plain-language project notice and may need review for the laws that apply to a future release.
1. The project
Nuvx is independent open-source software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or YouTube. “YouTube” and “YouTube Music” are trademarks of their respective owners. Nuvx does not host or own music delivered by third-party services.
2. Open-source license
The source code is offered under the GNU General Public License, version 3 only (GPL-3.0-only), as provided in the repository’s LICENSE. These terms do not replace or narrow that license. Third-party components have their own notices and terms.
3. Third-party services and content
Using software that connects to YouTube Music may involve third-party systems, content, network traffic and terms. You are responsible for complying with applicable service terms and laws. Availability, playback and access can change or stop. Do not use Nuvx to infringe rights, bypass access controls or disrupt services.
4. Development builds and risks
Development code is provided for evaluation and contribution. Features can be incomplete, unstable or removed. Do not rely on it for uninterrupted access, data preservation or any particular audio quality. Back up your own data and review code before building or running it.
5. No warranty; limits
To the extent permitted by law, the website and project software are provided “as is,” without warranties or guarantees of availability, fitness, accuracy or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, project contributors are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or software. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the project develops. The date above identifies the current version. For questions, use the public GitHub repository.
